Chai Spice Coffee Balls

If you're anything like us, during the holidays you love to keep with the flavours we find everywhere; clove, ginger and cinnamon reign supreme while we hide inside from the frightful weather. And rightfully so, as these aromatics bring a feeling of warmth and comfort that just feels cozy, doesn't it?

And you know what else is cozy? A nice warm cup of coffee. Blending the flavours of chai and coffee- two very warm and cozy themed things brings comfort that's out of this world! And the hazelnuts? A shoo-in for your new favourite holiday indulgence!

For the balls you'll need;

1 c almond hazelnut butter 1/2 c maple syrup

1/2 c rolled oats 1/2 c hazelnuts 1/4 c chia seeds 1/4 c coffee bean flour 1/4 c shredded coconut

2 Tbsp chai spice mix

In a mixing bowl combine nut butter and maple syrup and set aside.

In a food processor combine the rest of the ingredients and pulse until ground as coarsely as desired. A finer grind will be better texture!

You can either stir the wet into the dry, or use the processor to further process like we did. We got around 22 balls out of this but it was too good not to snack so that may vary.
